About Me

picture of Ross Meeks
My name is Ross Meeks and I live in Toronto, Canada. I have been a fan of combat simulation since the days of Gunship 2000 and F19 Stealth Fighter on my 286 PC. I also spent plenty of time playing Janes Longbow 2 back in the day. Recently I’ve enjoyed playing Enemy Engaged Comanche vs. Hokum (modded), as well as DCS:Blackshark v1.02. I cannot play any newer games until I get a faster PC.

My favorite part of simulations is setting up scenarios in the editor (sandbox), where you see if one force can beat the other. I have also tinkered with some basic cockpit building — just a single panel so far.

I am a programmer/IT geek by day, but I am serious about getting out of my 9-5 job, so I can focus on military simulation and some other creative projects.
